Read-a-Card is a software utility for reading card IDs from contactless cards. Compatible with a wide range of cards, Read-a-Card has a variety of functions to enable the integration of contactless technology (such as RFID) into systems without requiring any prior technical knowledge.

Read-a-Card was developed to provide a missing link between a computer and a contactless smart card reader. Unlike data stored on a USB memory stick, reading the data from your contactless card or tag can not be done by the operating system alone. It requires specialised software for anything to happen.
